TMZ reported on Monday that while the pair had filed divorce papers “a while ago”, the split was expected to be finalized today.

Lambert’s publicist confirmed in an email to The Oklahoman the accuracy of the AP statement and reporting “in terms that they are divorced”.
Though they have battled cheating rumors since 2014, the duo did not list infidelity as a reason their divorce. Both are talented country singers.

4 – In 2013, Shelton spoke to People magazine about how strong the couple’s relationship was. At the time, Shelton was married at the time to his first wife Kaynette Green.
The impulsive, hard drinking Shelton said his love for Lambert was “instant”. ‘They didn’t tell me!’. “If we did it often, I think we would go at each other”.
“We’re a really normal couple”, Lambert told The Associated Press in 2010. “We’re in the country, just with animals and we’re miles from any major city and it really calms us down, keeps us grounded”.
Lambert, 31, opened up about her marriage to Shelton, 39, in an interview with Marie Claire’s January 2015 issue.
