One of Hamm’s Golden Globes is misspelled
Jon Hamm sat down with Vanity Fair’s Krista Smith at Sundance, and casually mentioned that his first Golden Globe, won in 2008 for his portrayal of Don Draper on Mad Men, misspelled his name. But he couldn’t take issue with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association in person, because there was no ceremony that year, thanks to the infamous Writers’ Guild of America strike. Instead, John Hamm actually snagged the Globe.

Jon Hamm as Don Draper in Mad Men. And I was like, guys…there’s no “h”. No, they didn’t spell his last name without the second M, like the delicious meat product that Jon sells with Michael Buble.
Hamm said he hasn’t yet received a new, corrected plaque but reminded inscribers of the right spelling.
In Utah this week battling -1 degree weather as a Sundance Film Festival juror, Hamm said there should be an award for “best scarf and best hat”.
Hamm earned all his noms and awards for his role on the AMC drama “Mad Men”, which ended its seventh and final season a year ago.
