Donald Trump: My supporters would stick with me through shooting

How deep is their love?

The New York billionaire and former reality TV star who has been virtually impervious to attacks from his opponents, pushed the limits of his political rhetoric again in Sioux Center, Iowa. Where I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters, okay? “I just don’t feel that’s where a majority of the nation is”. “It is not the fact that he wants to shoot anybody, and I hope that’s not the way it is going to be changed or edited”. Folks, it’s the most incredible thing to sit here and watch all of this. It is actually steeped in truth.

Now bullishly confident of securing the Republican nomination, he boasted that his support was rock solid – unlike that of his rivals. A poll taken in early January had Mr. Trump at 33 percent, Mr. Rubio at 15 percent and Mr. Cruz at 12 percent.

Which is important when considering Trump’s latest re-tweet controversy. Forty percent of GOP primary voters say they would enthusiastically throw their support behind Trump – up 11 points from December.

On the campaign trail, Trump has vowed to repeal Obamacare and said he would work with private insurance companies to build other options.

“Megyn Kelly has no conflict of interest”. He claimed his controversial statement criticizing Kelly’s questioning during the Fox News debate was justified, an NBC News report stated.

“All of a sudden these establishment types come out for Trump”. “He wanted her desperately, more than anybody else”.

But less than 24 hours earllier, her son Track Palin was arrested for domestic violence. They helped boost Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum to victory in Iowa in 2008 and 2012. “It’s probably not a good idea for him to do that, and I would not recommend that he do it but you know … that’s Donald”. “It has to be someone who tells you exactly what they are going to do as president”. Trump is ahead by double-digits in two states polled for the first time in the series, Florida and Georgia, while Ted Cruz has the advantage in his home state of Texas. During a riff about those loans, Trump said “so that’s the story. I am proud to have her support”. “At this point, I really believe he is the only one with the ability to do that”.

In Beck’s view, it is “up to [Trump] to ask God’s forgiveness, but I would like to suggest to you that the man owes America an apology, and he should ask conservatives for America for forgiveness for supporting billions of dollars of bailouts, for pulling for the nationalization of our banks”.

That sentiment is at direct odds with a previously signed RNC pledge to vote for the eventual Republican nominee, whoever it might be. However, the biggest name on the list, the one touching the hearts of many aggressive conservatives (especially the ones who identify themselves as Oath Keepers or Patriots) is Donald Trump.
