The new 9.1.1 update can be downloaded over the air through the Settings app on the Apple TV by going to System – Software Update. But it does include an official Podcasts app.

Have you snapped up an Apple TV yet?
It was just around a month and a half ago that Apple unleashed tvOS 9.1 to Apple TV owners, but the Cupertino firm already has another update ready to go.
Apple’s 4th generation set-top box arrived back in October, bringing a brand new operating system featuring the App Store.
While getting this update today is a welcomed one for Apple TV fans, the bigger update, tvOS 9.2 (currently in beta), will be released later this year.

The app is straightforward; a phone app stretched out and rearranged to follow the standard Apple TV design guidelines. This not only allows users to express themselves more emotively but is also channeled back to the newsroom to allow producers to gauge how the content is performing with the audience. Oh, you should know that Apple is readying another, larger Apple TV update dubbed tvOS 9.2.
