You Can Now Livestream From Your GoPro Via Periscope
When connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your GoPro, the iOS Periscope app will automatically sync, allowing users to easily tap and stream. The feature is limited to those using a HERO4 Black or HERO4 Silver GoPro camera, which cost $499.99 and $399.99 respectively.

We’ve been wondering what the next big step would be for the Twitter-owned Periscope live streaming app, and today we got a look at what’s been going on behind the scenes.
“As a skier myself, I’ve always loved extreme sports, and I love how GoPro can show us all of the insane things these athletes can do”, Periscope iOS engineer Pablo Jablonski said. Then they just need to open the iOS app and tap on the broadcast button.
“Integrating GoPro offers Periscope broadcasters a new tool to help tell their stories more creatively, while GoPro content creators now have a new platform and audience with Periscope and Twitter to share their experiences”, GoPro said in a statement.
Give your Periscope a name, set your privacy options, and begin streaming as you normally would. In 2014, Livestream announced that users would be stream live footage from their GoPro cameras via the app. There is also a new button available that lets users lock the display while broadcasting, so you won’t have to worry about interrupting the stream accidentally.

Periscope users can toggle the camera back and forth between the iPhone view and the GoPro view, while continuing to see the on-screen chat on their phones.
