Trump calls moderator ‘biased,’ polls Twitter about presidential debate
The remark came in a tweet to Trump’s 5.7 million followers.

Fox News told The Los Angeles Times in August that the three moderators of that debate – Kelly, as well as Fox anchors Bret Baier and Chris Wallace – would be returning to moderate the network’s January debate. The well-known conservative took the opportunity to explain why he bucked his party’s preferential candidate, Donald Trump, in favor of the senator from Texas.
In an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Monday, Trump continued to badmouth the Fox News host who had challenged him during the first Republican showdown last August.
Kelly is to be one of the questioners of the candidates in the main debate in Des Moines just days before the February 1 Iowa caucuses. She told Vanity Fair this month that “I can’t be wooed. I think she’s very biased and I don’t think she can treat me fairly”.
It wasn’t immediately clear what Kelly had done to earn Trump’s latest attack, but she did interview National Review’s editor, Rich Lowry, the night before. Kelly infuriated Trump at the time by asking a rather pointed question about disparaging comments he’s made about women’s looks.
ABC severed its February debate partnership with the Union Leader after Trump relentlessly attacked the New Hampshire newspaper for running a front-page editorial criticising him. Kelly responded that probing questions were part of her job. Ms. Kelly is one of the moderators at the debate on Thursday as well, and Mr. Trump said he might not attend.
“You’ve called women you don’t like “fat pigs, ‘ ‘dogs, ‘ ‘slobs” and ‘disgusting animals, ‘” Kelly said during the first debate, before Trump interjected, “Only Rosie O’Donnell”.

“By the way, he endorsed Ted Cruz. I’ve won every single debate, according to every poll”. While it remains highly unlikely that Trump actually doesn’t show up on Thursday, he continues to threaten the relationship between Fox News and its viewers.
