Their bodies were found at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday after police received a call asking for a “security check” of the home.

A man was arrested in San Jose in connection with the deaths of three girls, including his daughter, and two women found in a Modesto home over the weekend, Modesto police said.
For Tim Ripley, Crews’ ex-husband and father to Christopher and Elizabeth, his entire family has been lost, purportedly at the hands of Martinez.
Modesto Police are revealing new details about Saturday’s quintuple homicide on Nob Hill Court.
Family and friends identified one of the victims as Dr. Amanda Crews, who worked as a physician in Turlock and Modesto. Rachel was apparently Martinez’s daughter.
A day after police made the grisly discovery of five bodies – including three little girls – inside a tidy suburban house in Modesto, the word went out: The suspected killer was heading for San Jose.
Police found the second vehicle in a parking lot after midnight and waited for Martinez to return, Morales said. Investigators had named Martinez as a person of interest in the case Saturday and said he was last seen driving a red Lincoln Navigator.
Modesto police notified San Jose police that Martinez might be heading to a relative’s home in the vehicle, San Jose police Officer Albert Morales said.
Officers said there was no indication Martinez may do something like this.
Martinez was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of murder and is being held without bail, sheriff’s Sgt. Officers arrested him without incident, Morales said.
During the press conference, police said that Martinez was a possible a suspect in the October 2014 death of Crews’ toddler son, Christopher Ripley.

Crews’ mother, Paulette Beidleman, of Fallon, Nevada, said her daughter decided to become a doctor after breaking her arm in grade school and was dedicated to helping people.
