Seattle Police say at around 7:15 p.m., they received reports of gunfire near the 1500 block of Airport Way South.
Assistant Seattle Police Chief Bob Merner said at a news conference the victims lived at the encampment.

While the police have identified and focused on two suspects, O’toole says they have “no reason to believe” there is anymore ongoing danger surrounding this case.
Reportedly there are 2 dead and 3 wounded after Seattle homeless camp shooting. He added that the suspects were likely not homeless and that they were not precisely targeting people at The Jungle because they were in that condition.
The two women shot are breathing on their own and remain in serious condition in intensive care, Gregg said Wednesday in a news release.
Police said an unidentified woman died at the scene. He said the illegal encampments will be assessed, but gave little information about what will happen to the sites following the action. They did a search of the wooded area and found five victims, police said.
KIRO-TV reported the victim’s ages were between 25 and 45 but their names have not been revealed.
The Jungle has used by the city’s homeless to camp for decades, though Mayor Ed Murray has called it “unmanageable and out of control for two decades”. O’Toole has said that police believe the shooting is related to “low-level drug dealing”.
Seattle now provides 1,700 shelter beds, each used by an average of six persons each year. “This is a time for us to once again try to solve this crisis”.
