These were Cam Newton from the Panthers, who got the Heisman Trophy in 2010 and Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer, who won a Heisman Trophy in 2002.
This season, Newton became the first quarterback in National Football League history to have 35 touchdown passes and 10 touchdown runs. The quarterback threw two touchdown passes in Sunday’s win, but he still completed just 17 of 32 pass attempts for 176 yards. We’re going to get ready. The initial line favored Carolina by 5 1/2 points, and was quickly bet down to 4 points.
