Denver Broncos season-ticket holders see their Super Bowl lottery seats

If Cam Newton has the type of Super Bowl debut Troy Aikman did, the Carolina Panthers will be in good shape for the Super Bowl.

Peyton Manning is a former MVP himself, but the 39-year-old will be focused on the game as the oldest starter ever in a Super Bowl for the Denver Broncos.

The team distributed its share of Super Bowl tickets using a lottery system.

Beer and liquor orders are stocked, “We sell a whole lot of Fire Ball so we’ll bring in a couple half gallons of that, other than that we have $2 domestics so the beer guys will come in and bulk up the beer a little bit and we sell plenty”, said Spratt.

The Broncos are likely to lose to the Carolina Panthers in the Super Bowl, but beating the Patriots will always be its own reward that can’t be taken away.

“We’re definitely going to turn it panther blue in here, we’re very proud of the Panthers making it to the Super Bowl so we’re going to do everything we can to represent”, said Amber Spratt, the Manager at Duck’s Grille and Bar.

Ware and Manning watched Denver’s first win over the Patriots, a 30-24 overtime thriller on November 29, from the equipment room adjacent to the Broncos’ lockers.

“I think many fans there think this is the team’s first real shot a Super Bowl”, Leyden said.

Lafood said, “This is not even close to thanking her for what she’s done, but it’s the fact of I get to go to the Super Bowl with my momma.” I really can’t believe somebody would put something like this on the air. “Like I said, there’s not a better guy for the job that could have done a better job than Gary’s done this year”. They look at him, his career, his success, but yet they had no idea that he had never played in a championship game.

“I’ll let you answer that”, said Elway, the Broncos’ executive vice president of football operations and general manager. He’s a great competitor and he keeps coming back. “Our defense has made so many great plays throughout the whole year and really saved us”.

Aikman, who dealt with concussions in his playing career and retired after the 2000 season, said he sees a big change in how the league handles the issue now.

“I sat it on the table”, Ware said. “We had to have our full team”, Ware said.
