Rihanna releases new album early after tracklist is leaked on Tidal
On Monday (25Jan16), Rihanna revealed she had finally finished working on the album, by sharing a picture of herself wearing a Dolce & Gabbana crown and sparkling headphones, alongside the caption: “Listening to ANTI”.

AllHipHop.com reached out to Roc Nation for confirmation on the first day download numbers for Anti, but the label has not responded as of press time. The new album is following the Drake – featuring single “Work” which was only recently released. Creeping synths compliment Rihanna’s dizzying words as she repeats: work, turn, dirt and love.
Ironic that the Rihanna Navy will engage in piracy to get their digital hands on her new project, but such is life in 2016. “Work” is only officially available on Tidal on the moment, but you can listen to a radio rip of the song below.
In a press release, TIDAL stated: “The collaboration between Rihanna and Samsung throughout ANTIdiaRy culminated in the gift of download codes for fans, since the album’s release just 14 hours ago”.
Earlier in the evening, Tidal allegedly leaked the track list to her much anticipated new album (resulting in a host of screenshots appearing all over Twitter).
While the lyrical content of the new single – it features 83 mentions of Work – caused some cyber buzz, more fans and critics were gobsmacked by the inclusion of the Tame Impala cover.
The singer’s first album in three years was released Wednesday night after it was leaked online earlier in the day.
A few hours later the music stream provider owned by rapper and mogul Jay Z Tidal chose to give fans more reason to faint when the company released Anti. ANTI is Rihanna’s first LP since Unapologetic which was released back in 2012.
