Wilde and Rob Demovsky report that Rodgers had a minor scope on his knee within days after the Packers’ loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

A source told ESPN the surgery was an arthroscopic procedure and “cleanup of an old injury”.

Rodgers was named to the Pro Bowl last month but turned down the appearance due to an unspecified injury.

It’s not clear when Rodgers may have injured his knee. After the game Rodgers described the hit as “a little low” and said he was sore.

Rodgers’s only injury listed by the Packers during this past regular season was a shoulder injury.

Rodgers has had an injury history with this left knee.

He also experienced career lows with a 60.7 completion percentage, 238.8 passing yards per game and 6.7 yards per attempt.
