The release of ANTI has been a long time coming, and the feeling by some online users was that all the hype may have dropped surrounding the album, and it may not do too well in its first week.

While the gift download period has now expired, the album is still available for streaming on TIDAL; since last night, ANTI has already been streamed almost 14 million times.

Rihanna, pictured at the 2nd Annual Diamond Ball on December 10, 2015 in Santa Monica, California, released her new album “Anti” exclusively on Tidal. Also, Rihanna has tied up with Samsung to give out a limited number of complimentary download codes to get a 60-day free Tidal trial.

The news of her latest album comes after the 27-year-old beauty shared her first single, “Work”, which features Drake.

The Telegraph described the album as “Rihanna without hits”, adding, “This, for better or worse, is clearly the music Rihanna likes: leftfield, stoned and unusual”.

Rihanna announced the release “Work“, which features rapper Drake, via Twitter on Wednesday. The song isn’t up on YouTube, SoundCloud or Spotify, but is available by visiting Tidal’s homepage and left-clicking on the artwork.

The fan reactions were everything from “Rihanna thank you for everything you do for us” to “ITS 100% FREE IM DEAD” – happy we think?! All three singles were released in the spring and noticeably absent from the final track list for Anti.

“Anti” finally closes the void Rihanna left after her 2012 record, “Unapologetic”. #WORK feat @drake on iTunes now– http://smarturl.it/iRWork…
