Andre Drummond Selected To 2016 Eastern Conference All-Star Team
Drummond’s great first half has been recognized by the NBA’s coaches, and he has been selected as an Eastern Conference reserve in the NBA All-Star game.

Those were some of the reasons Van Gundy blamed for the loss, as his team prepares to play the Toronto Raptors, in second place in the East, Saturday night.
There’s some controversy over Tyronn Lue, with three games under his belt as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, will be on the sidelines of the All-Star game. Not Steve Kerr (can’t do it two times in a row) or Luke Walton got to be on the Western Conference sidelines.
Andre Drummond has been a force for the Detroit Pistons over the first 46 games of the 2015-16 regular season, leading the team to a surprising 25-21 record.
When it comes to competition for All Star votes in the Eastern Conference, Andre Drummond is going to have to compete with the likes of Kristaps Porzingis, so has rejuvenated the New York Knicks by showing that he is the clear successor to Carmelo Anthony as the franchise player for the long suffering franchise.
On the other end, Bosh will return to his original National Basketball Association city after being chosen for his 11th consecutive All-Star Game, trailing only the Lakers’ Kobe Bryant (18), Cleveland’s LeBron James and Miami’s Dwyane Wade (both with 12) among active players. With MVP Stephen Curry voted a starter by fans, the Warriors have three All-Stars for the first time since Rick Barry, Phil Smith and Jamaal Wilkes in 1976. Paul is an All-Star for the ninth straight year.

Damian Lillard is probably the best player not in the game who deserves to be, improving in about every aspect on a bad Portland Trail Blazers team, scoring 24.3 points per game next to C.J. McCollum who is also putting up borderline All-Star numbers this season. LaMarcus Aldridge, somewhat surprisingly, made the team, giving the Spurs a second representative.
