Rihanna Finally Dropped Her New Single ‘Work,’ Featuring Drake

As if that number weren’t staggering enough, Samsung bought one million copies of the new Rihanna album to give away to fans for free, and those have all been redeemed.

Earlier tonight, the track list for Rihanna’s Anti was allegedly leaked on Tidal, which caused a flurry of screenshots to forever live on Twitter. In addition, Anti was reportedly streamed over 13 million times in 14 hours. Originally, the single was only available on TIDAL, the music streaming service started by Jay Z, which Rihanna is part of, but now it’s been released on iTunes as well.

The Barbadian musician had also dropped new track “Work” – taken from the album – on BBC Radio 1 hours previous; the single features Drake. Before long, mp3s of her first album in more than three years were being shared widely and illegally.

“ANTI” doesn’t include the singles Rihanna released a year ago, including “Bitch Better Have My Money”, “American Oxygen” and “FourFiveSeconds”, with Kanye West and Paul McCartney.

Rihanna earlier Wednesday put out a first single from Anti that features chart-topping rapper Drake.

Rihanna built up the album over the last few months after partnering with Samsung and launching a website called “ANTIdiaRy“.

Rihanna has been hinting for months that Anti is on the verge of hitting the market but has not confirmed a date.

“ANTI” will be available for purchase digitally on Friday. Producers and writers talked about the recording process and she tweeted the occasional studio clip, but she didn’t release any new music whatsoever.

As far as would-be streamers are concerned, a full cut of the new track is harder than usual to come by.

The singer will go on a world tour next month
