Johnny Manziel was questioned by Fort Worth Police after an alleged altercation with his girlfriend.

The report states that a call was made alerting police to a potential assault, though upon arriving at the location police only located a woman now identified as Manziel’s ex-girlfriend, who apparently was not the caller.

Fort Worth Police confirm Manziel was not arrested.

This latest incident didn’t involve a vehicle or a Northeast Ohio highway, or even Paul Kruger, at least as far as we know, but it’s another incident nonetheless.

The couple reportedly exited Manziel’s vehicle and were arguing on the side of the road when passersby alerted the police. One witness told police Crowley tried to open the vehicle door while Manziel pulled her inside by putting his arm and elbow around her neck.

Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel may have been a little like Ray Liotta in that weird final half hour of Goodfellas.

Fox 8 reached out to the Cleveland Browns, but they declined to comment at this time.

She did say she and Manziel had an incident in Dallas, which is out of Fort Worth Police’s jurisdiction.

The Fort Worth incident was not Manziel’s first domestic altercation.

Manziel started in six games, winning two of them. He missed his mandatory concussion treatment on gameday at the team’s facility and was fined.

Manziel did not attend the team’s season finale against Pittsburgh. Reports from Las Vegas reported that Manziel was in Nevada during the Browns’ closing weekend.
