Bill Clinton: To understand Hillary, look to her faith
Weaver said none of the debates could be held on a Friday, Saturday or holiday weekend and the three Democratic candidates must be invited.

If you only read establishment press reports, you might (finally) know about the “unexpectedly” competitive race for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination, but you would have no sense of the deep concern within the left’s ranks about their unsavory choices.
Clinton is trailing Sanders in New Hampshire and locked in a tight contest in Monday’s Iowa caucuses, raising the possibility that the Democratic front-runner could lose both. “Sanders will change his mind and join us”, Clinton told MSNBC’s Chris Matthews in a phone interview. If all three candidates participate in a debate, the DNC can’t sanction everyone.
New Hampshire supporters of Clinton, Sanders and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley have for weeks called for the additional debate.
“The DNC has said it is not going to sanction any more debates until after February 9th”, said Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager.
Clinton and O’Malley said they are ready to debate February 4.
“She is a walking, breathing change agent, the only person qualified and has the knowledge on economic and social issues, and political issues and national security issues”, Bill Clinton argued.
Amy Dacey, the DNC’s chief executive officer, said on Twitter earlier Wednesday that “Democrats have a debate schedule, and we’re sticking to it”.
“I know that I will be a better president because of what I have learned in Iowa”, she said.
Clinton countered by telling CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on “The Situation Room” that she would indeed agree to more debates – but declined to get into specifics.
“One of the myths of the Iowa caucuses is that Hillary Clinton didn’t run a good campaign in 2008”, he said, noting she still started the 2016 race with a list of hundreds of people who backed her previously able to step in this time around.
Donald Trump’s campaign doubled down on his feud with Fox News on Wednesday, complaining that the network has an “obsession” with attacking him and that its debate coverage promotes itself rather than focusing on issues. I have no idea who said this.
Then there are the polls showing Bernie Sanders surging ahead – not just in Iowa but in New Hampshire as well.
The candidate has no history of cardiovascular disease, a leading cause of death.
“Everything she has ever touched, she made something good happen”, he said.
“As long as Washington is bought and paid for, we can’t build an economy that works for people”, the narrator says. I don’t think that’s a problem at this point. And debates are one way that millions of people can hear our ideas and hear the differences between the candidates.

Citing Sanders’ “brave” October 9, 2002, speech on the Senate floor, in which he staunchly opposed the Iraq war, Sarandon said, “I need somebody with judgment and not just experience”. Sanders, this time making a comparison with Britain and France, allowed that “hypothetically, you’re going to pay $5,000 more in taxes”, and declared, “We will raise taxes, yes we will”.
