Activision reportedly working on a new Ghostbusters game
The two hit Ghostbusters movies were a huge part of the 80s pop culture. Retail Merchandiser discusses the recently released Ghostbusters level pack for Lego Dimensions, but also mentions that Activision will release a “full-fledged “Ghostbusters” video game” alongside the movie for PS4 and Xbox One.

A new Ghostbusters movie is coming in July, and if a report from Retail Merchandiser is correct, a new game will be released around the same time.
Development began “early in the filmmaking process” on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 title, according to the report.
Activision hasn’t announced it’s working on a Ghostbusters title, but the firm was also mum for ages regarding Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, information on which leaked like a rusty galvanized water main. In the meantime, though, if you get desperate for a new “Ghostbusters” game, there are options…
“Ghostbusters”, however, isn’t just another movie and neither is the game. So, right now, the game’s a pretty solid question mark, which is about where we stand on the movie too, since, somehow, we’re 5 months from release, shooting wrapped previous year, and we haven’t even gotten a teaser for this flick.

Ghostbusters has a huge fan following, which has largely been helped by the catchy theme song by Ray Parker Jr., among other reasons.
