FA Cup fifth round draw

Hiddink won the FA Cup with Chelsea during his first spell as interim manager in 2009 and has seen them improve since the sacking of Jose Mourinho in December.

Chelsea face Manchester City at Stamford Bridge in the pick of the fixtures for the FA Cup fifth round draw.

I think that Arsenal being drawn to play at home in the next round of the FA cup could be even more of a boost to our hopes of getting that record three trophy wins in a row than the identity of the club we will face, Hull City.

AFC Bournemouth host Everton and Tottenham take on Crystal Palace in two all-Premier League affairs, while the victor of the replay between Liverpool and West Ham will travel to face Blackburn Rovers.

Arsenal and Hull City will meet each other in the FA Cup for the third year running with the Gunners eliminating the Tigers with a 2-0 win last year.

Louis van Gaal’s side progressed comfortably to the fifth round after beating Derby County 3-1 at Pride Park, and United will be looking to overcome the League One side easily again. The second-tier side will play the winners of next week’s replay after the pair drew 0-0 at Anfield on Saturday.

Shrewsbury, which has reached the fifth round for the first time since 1991, will be the underdogs at its New Meadow stadium – but Rooney won’t be taking victory for granted.

There will be a repeat of the 2014 final and the third round a year ago as defending champions Arsenal take on Hull City at the Emirates, while Bournemouth’s home tie against Everton rounds up the fifth round.

The ties will be played on the weekend of 20/21st February.
