During a recent interview with TMZ, the Original Kings of Comedy star also talked about Caitlyn’s looks.

Hughley expressed his doubts about whether Jenner should have received the Arthur Ashe Courage Awards at the ceremony, noting that Ashe fought segregation in tennis and battled AIDS. Many people have objected to her nomination on the grounds that the previous year saw more commendable demonstrations of courage. In other words, the actor contends that Arthur Ashe, who died at the age of 49 in 1993, and Caitlyn Jenner, 65, had very little in common. Hughley stated that Ashe was a “symbol of courage”. But D.L. Hughley couldn’t let it go.

The comedian also said that the media keeps saying Caitlyn is lovely and Serena Williams looked like a man and for him, everything is just “weird”, and “ridiculous”.

@RealDLHughley I’ve now unfollowed on FB & Twitter.

“Yes, Caitlyn looks awesome and is lovely but what I think is most lovely about her is her heart and soul, the ways she has allowed the world into her vulnerabilities”. Always thought you’d support people living their true selves. “Ok so like I don’t really care about celebrities but Caitlyn Jenner just gave me a hug at the abbey!!” tweeted one patron named “coolkidconnor”.
