As Clark listened to her son’s heartbeat inside of Jordan, Jordan’s mother said “That’s your baby”.

Late past year, Ms Clark contacted Jordan’s family, desperate to meet the young girl who had her son’s heart.
That little boy ended up abused by the sitter’s boyfriend and tragically died, but that tragedy has turned to hope for another family.
Two mothers, united by one heart, met for the first time Friday in Phoenix, closing a case study over the importance of organ donors in Arizona.
Before the meeting, she said: “I’m not going to say anything”.
Ms Clark said of her decision to donate Lukas’s organs: “There is another family out there, somewhere, you know who’s feeling something of what I’m feeling, somewhat, and I have the chance to make them not go through what I’m about to go through”. Ms Clark says she didn’t think twice about donating her son’s organs after her devastating loss, a decision which saved three lives.
Jordan received Lukas’ heart on June 22, 2013.
Heather has Lukas’ face tattooed on her arm, but she was looking forward to hearing her son’s heart beating again-this time inside Jordan’s chest.
Lukas died after three days in hospital due to life-threatening injuries, allegedly inflicted by his babysitter, 21-year-old Ryan Anthony Garcia, CBS Los Angeles reports.
“The donation of life, up until that moment, was a topic we hadn’t discussed in our household because it didn’t affect us”, said Myrian Torres, Jordan’s grandmother. “If there was a camera in front of him, he was either smiling or sticking his tongue out”.
Jordan also got to listen to Clark’s heartbeat.
“I just can’t believe this is happening”, Gonzalez said, tearing up.
“I’m not going to say anything”.
Clark and Drake’s mother, Esther Gonzalez, were filmed by KDVR crying and hugging while meeting one another for the first time.
“Hi, Jordan”, Clark said as Gonzales wiped away tears.
“We’re family now, we’re friends now, our families are families, we’ve brought our families together.”
