Panther’s Davis Plans to Play in Super Bowl with Broken Arm
Both veterans are dealing with broken bones, as Allen suffered a broken bone is his foot two weeks ago and Davis broke his forearm last week. So the Panthers would love to have him back for the Super Bowl next weekend.

“[I have] a plate and probably around 11 or 12 screws in my arm right now”, Davis told the NFL Network.
The Panthers played extremely well defensively in the NFC Championship Game, despite the absence of Allen and the early departure of Davis.
The Panthers will take on the Denver Broncos on February 7 at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Leave him a comment in the comments section below.
Resilience can be seen throughout the team; receivers stepping up when Kelvin Benjamin tore his ACL in the preseason, a head coach that was expected to be fired one season and led them to a Super Bowl the next, even a young quarterback who is experiencing the extremes of growing into a superstar.
We may not be able to get you to the game, but we’ll do our best to make you a part of the experience.
Such an attitude epitomizes Davis. To a man, teammates talk about the time, pain and sweat it took for him to come back from a severe knee injury. They say it’s hard for the average fan to comprehend. So I think that speaks volumes to the type of person that he is….
“For us older guys it’s always nice to get a little bit longer break and kind of rest up and recharge a little bit”.
Now, says teammate Luke Kuechly, all that’s missing is the ending.
