Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders sparring escalates over new debate
Bernie Sanders said he’s relying on voter turnout for his campaign’s success not just in Iowa, but in every part of the country, NBC News reported. Sanders does much better among men than women than Hillary Clinton does, although in all three states women turned out more than men in 2008. “Now she is asking to change the rules to schedule a debate next week that is not sanctioned by the DNC”, Weaver said. Why is that? The answer is obvious.

“But the dynamics in this race have changed, and so suddenly they want a new debate”, he said.
“He (Obama) and the vice president had tried to be fair and even-handed in the process and I expect that will continue to be that way”, Sanders added. A third contestant, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, is a distant third.
Sanders has previously called on Clinton to encourage the Democratic National Committee to schedule more debates, and he used a petition on his website to raise money off the issue.
The 30-second ad airing Friday in the waning days before Monday’s Iowa caucuses makes no mention of Clinton, who has received more than $600,000 in speaking fees from the Wall Street firm.
It was the first private meeting between the president and the Democrat candidate.
The Sanders campaign circulated a doctor’s note from Sanders’ physician for the last 26 years, Rear Adm. Brian P. Monahan, who is the attending physician of the United States Congress.
Progressive state Senator Ray Lesniak (D-20) told PolitickerNJ that while he still supports Clinton, he does not think her candidacy is a sure bet.
As for Obama’s opinions about Sanders, he said that whatever he’s doing is “obviously working”.
Clinton also leads over Sanders among female voters by 50 percent to 38 percent – but the spread is not as large as her 61 percent to 27 percent advantage last month. Numerous televised events have been held on weekend evenings, giving it a limited audience.
As it stands, the next DNC-sanctioned debate is February 11 in Wisconsin.
“The debate over the debate is where it should be – in the hands of the three candidates”, Surdukowski said Wednesday.

Sarandon did not mention Clinton by name, but seemed to take a jab at the 2016 Democratic candidate, who only came out in favor of same-sex marriage in 2013, after Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.
