Trump says he ‘wanted to do’ debate on Fox

Donald Trump, a controversial Republican presidential front-runner, today shunned the last primary debate before the Iowa caucus but relished the drama triggered by his snub of a top U.S. news network, taunting his rivals at a competing fundraising event schemed to chide them.

Ted Cruz’s campaign is aiming to show he will have the cash to go toe-to-toe with the real estate magnate. “The truth is, Ted, throughout this campaign you’ve been willing to say or do anything in order to get votes”. He needs more than just those fox who are anti-Fox news Republicans. “And they didn’t even mention that he was born in Canada”, Trump said.

Trump chose not to attend the debate because he said he was unfairly singled out in a previous debate by Kelly. “I say, hasn’t it already started?” he joked.

But when The Hill asked Facebook what Trump’s numbers looked like, a spokesperson said, “If [Trump] had participated and been included in the list, he would have ranked number one with twice as many people talking about him as Cruz”.

Roe added that his organization’s figures show there are 9,131 Iowans choosing between Cruz and Donald Trump, 2,807 people choosing between Cruz and Florida Sen.

“We have a good bit of wind at our backs and we’re looking forward to finishing strong here”, Todd Harris, a senior adviser to Rubio, said in Dubuque on Friday night.

Cruz, who has won endorsements from key evangelicals and anti-abortion figures who tout his religious values, insists the race against Trump is winnable and has blanketed Iowa with 12,000 volunteers and staff.

“Chris, I would note that the last four questions have been, ‘Rand please attack Ted, ‘ ‘Marco please attack Ted, ‘ ‘Chris please attack Ted, ‘ ‘Jeb please attack Ted, ‘” Cruz said. “I think Ted came across kind of petty”.

“How about this: He was citizen of Canada, and he was a senator from Texas”, Mr. Trump said.

Paul jumped in by calling Cruz’s statements on immigration “insulting” and said Cruz had no place accusing his rivals of being for amnesty.

Sanders has a new ad blasting Goldman Sachs – and by extension Clinton, who collected speaking fees from the giant Wall Street bank.

His wife, Indra, a businesswoman, said she also changed her mind to supporting Rubio after Thursday’s debate.
