Fort Worth officers responded to a call at an apartment around 2 a.m. regarding a possible assault, according to police. Fort Worth and Dallas police are working together to determine if any criminal offense took place.
Manziel reportedly was in Las Vegas on the Saturday night before the Browns’ final regular-season game despite being in the NFL’s concussion protocol that sidelined him for the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. “We are aware and looking into it”.
The Cleveland Browns did not immediately return a request for comment.
Manziel has a history of off-the-field incidents. The altercation with his girlfriend certainly won’t help his cause.

This is the second time within four months police were called in to investigate Manziel. Crowley expressed concern of Manziel’s well-being and whereabouts. It is unclear at the time whether or not Saturday’s incident involved the same girlfriend.

Police later learned Manziel wasn’t in danger, but no other details of his whereabouts or condition were released.
Manziel was pulled over by OH police back in October after being seen fighting in his auto with his girlfriend, Colleen Crowley.
No charges were filed in that incident, and it was not clear whether it involved the same woman mentioned in the latest Texas incident. He admitted then he had been drinking earlier in the day.
Manziel entered a rehab facility in early 2015.
