Donald Trump Confuses Communion Plate For Offertory During Church Visit
The accidental offering occurred when Trump and his wife Melania attended mass at the non-denominational First Christian Church’s Orchard Campus in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Sunday (Jan. 31). All of them took communion when it was passed, but the real estate mogul seemed a bit confused when the silver plates circulated around th, e auditorium, mistaking the silver plates and taking a few dollar bills from his pocket.

But according to a report from the Associated Press, Donald Trump doesn’t know his ass from his elbow once he gets inside a church.
He was apparently informed that it wasn’t that time of the service yet and he laughed off the mistake. “I’m a Christian. I’m a Presbyterian”, he said, confusingly, to another crowd of Iowans in December.
Trump would eventually give his donation when the offering plate finally came around.
Last year, Trump spoke about partaking in Holy Communion.
“When I drink my little wine – which is about the only wine I drink – and have my little cracker, I guess that is a form of asking for forgiveness, and I do that as often as possible because I feel cleansed”, he said.
Remember when Donald Trump misquoted the Bible at Liberty University and a bunch of his supporters insisted it was because he was simply saying it the Irish way, like his devout Irish Catholic mother taught him to?
“I want to thank the evangelicals”, Trump says in the video. “This very Bible”, said Trump holding up the good book.
Senator Ted Cruz on the road in Iowa is also getting some back up from his wife, Heidi – “I hope you fall in love with Ted Cruz the way I have”.
“In fact, it’s her writing, right here”.

“I don’t have to win it. But I think it would be really good to win Iowa”, Trump said Monday.
