“If they lose support it could flow to Rubio”.

Interestingly, Bush focused briefly on President Barack Obama and took a very similar tack against him to Donald Trump’s typical line. “You’ll start to see some clarity in a couple weeks”.
New Hampshire’s primary process, in which voters cast ordinary ballots, offers the candidates a more straightforward sprint toward victory than the quixotic Iowa caucuses. Their skirmish could help Trump fend off Cruz for the top spot.
Moving on to New Hampshire on Tuesday, Jeb Bush addressed supporters with former opponent Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) sitting in the front row – another Republican establishment darling, Graham ran for the Republican nomination and dropped out a few days before Christmas 2015 after consistently polling at or near zero percent.
“In regards to Iowa, it’s also important to note that the Christie campaign was not on the airwaves, had a minimal staff on the ground and didn’t dedicate financial resources to voter contact”. New Hampshire often gives the back of the hand to Iowa’s winners, and the race is often decided by the state’s undeclared voters, the designation here for those not choosing either party.
Behind Trump, who has led by double digits in New Hampshire in recent polls, the GOP race remained hotly contested. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson; Rick Santorum, a former USA senator from Pennsylvania; and Ted Cruz will put more emphasis down South. After all, more than 60 percent of South Carolina’s Republican vote is regarded as evangelical.
“You all have a chance to make a huge difference in this election”, he said.
“This is probably the most active week leading up to a primary I’ve seen since I’ve been involved in 1972”, said New Hampshire National Republican Committee member Steve Duprey. He has repeatedly told voters here that New Hampshire is of paramount importance to his campaign, and he flew in for rallies twice over the last week as the campaign in Iowa reached its final stages. Then, after the last question was asked, he went off.
Even if they fall short in New Hampshire, they are increasingly banking on a big showing in SC to turn around a campaign that has underperformed so far.
All of the money flowing into Iowa on Bush’s behalf came from his Super PAC.
In all, NBC News says Right to Rise spent $14.9 million on behalf of the GOP candidate in Iowa. Paul Lindsay, a spokesman for the super PAC, wouldn’t confirm that number.
‘It will set the race going forward, and today, Jeb Bush is in a very strong position in the state’.
Even with an elaborate campaign operation and backing from most Democratic Party leaders, Clinton was unable to stem a flood of enthusiasm from young and liberal voters for Sanders, the eccentric Vermont senator whose viability in a general election is still deeply questioned.
Christie was scheduled to wrap up Sunday at a West Des Moines rally, where he will be introduced by Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad – an event Christie’s campaign touts as significant, but which analysts think could ironically provide more of a boost to Trump instead. Since December, Rubio also has traveled for events in Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Texas and Minnesota.
New Day and an affiliated organization, New Day Independent Media, began 2016 with almost $2 million, though its fundraising pace was down compared to earlier months, according to filings Sunday.
Ernst has not endorsed a candidate in the crowded Republican field, though she has appeared at events with Florida Sen. They hope that will allow the party to unite behind his candidacy to take on the conservative favorite, potentially Trump.

Although Clinton said she was “breathing a big sigh of relief”, and her campaign said it had won an outright victory, the neck-and-neck contest was a blow, evoking the setback she faced in 2008 after her upset loss to then-Sen. “Time for him to man up and step up and stop letting all of his handlers write his speeches and handle him, because that’s what they do”.
