Vanessa Hudgens thanks fans for support after Grease

Our thoughts remain with Vanessa and her family during this hard time. “It was incredibly fearless of her”, executive producer Marc Platt told Variety. She kept up with the hand-jivin’ of the professional dancers, and her high energy and contagious smile in the competition were far from mournful. NBC’s You, Me and the Apolocalypse averaged 5 million Thursday. She knew that she had to do it. She knew that she had to put that in a box for a few hours and use it to fuel her performance. She stated that it takes a strong person and a strong family to be able to help others who are going through the same thing as she was. And they came to the show and watched in a trailer live on the Warners lot. “It’s a disgusting disease, ‘ but that’s only because I had not been faced with it personally”, she added. While some viewers feel that her delivery was too strayed from the original, her funky and rockin’ performance set the tone for the whole show. There’s a point between scenes where everyone’s running around, but we all quickly got dressed and were holding hands backstage watching her as she did that solo. We don’t need to see trendy girls in ripped jeans in those bleachers. “Doing #greaselive was one of the most incredible experience and I’m so glad you guys liked it as much as I did”, the actress captioned the Instagram.

During her big solo, “Freddy My Love”, Palmer had to wear three dresses at the same time – one on top of the other – to make it easier to slip in and out of her wardrobe for the quick transitions. Her rendition of “There Are Worse Things I Could Do” was a colossal hit, fans swearing that her high emotion did little but contribute to the overall act.
