Another Bristow helicopter crashes in Lagos
A commercial helicopter crashed into sea in Lagos, Nigeria’s economic hub on Wednesday afternoon, carrying 11 passengers, a local official said.

“The aircraft, a Sikorsky S-76C++, had departed on a routine crew transfer flight offshore with nine passengers and a crew of two”.
The helicopter was said to travelling from Port Harcourt to Lagos when it disappeared from radar.
The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) identified the crashed helicopter as belonging to Bristow Helicopters with registration number 5N- BDG-760540.
He assured that Accident Investigation Bureau AIB has commenced investigation into the occurrence and that details would be communicated later.
Public Relations Officer, South-West National Emergency Management Agency, Ibrahim Farinloye said emergency workers are already at the scene of the incident.
