Clinton, Sanders Continue Debate on Debates
It came on a day when Sanders’ campaign conducted damage control in Nevada and released the senator’s medical records, something he had vowed to do before the Iowa caucus.

The 30-second spot, which aides said will debut Friday in Iowa, makes no mention of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, but the contrast the Vermont senator is attempting to draw seems pretty clear. “As long as Washington is bought and paid for, we can’t build an economy that works for people”.
At 74, Sanders would be the oldest president inaugurated in American history.
Sanders only appears at the end of the ad to approve the message.
The results show the race in Iowa tightening from a similar survey a month ago, when Clinton garnered 55% support compared to Sanders’ 33%. But his argument seeks to capitalize on concerns by Democrats that Wall Street has become too influential in the nation’s economy and political system.
“Support for Sanders has come from those who are new to the process, but the current poll indicates he is also cutting into Clinton’s lead among die-hard Democratic partisans”, Patrick Murray, director of the independent Monmouth University Polling Institue, said in a press release. Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver said the campaign reminded staffers it was inappropriate “and that they should not do it again”.
The letter lists previous medical conditions Sanders has sought treatment for, including gout, “mild” levels of high cholesterol, and acid reflux-related laryngitis. He has also had surgery to fix hernias and excise a vocal cord cyst, the letter said.
The Sanders campaign circulated a doctor’s note from Sanders’ physician for the last 26 years, Rear Adm. Brian P. Monahan, who is the attending physician of the United States Congress. Sarandon – who has always been open about her liberal political stance – has been campaigning for Sanders in the Democratic primaries.

“[The Iraq war is] where Hillary Clinton lost me”, Sarandon told the outlet Wednesday night at the conclusion of Sanders’ Mason City rally, “because there was plenty of information that even I had that said there was a real problem with the logic involved”.
