Miley Cyrus tapped as 2015 VMAs host – Arts & Entertainment
In 2013 VMA, Miley performed “We Can’t Stop” and made headlines with her infamous twerk in a performance with Robin Thicke and a…giant foam finger performing “Blurred Lines”. It is actually a split photo where Cyrus wears an alien costume from head to toe carrying a sign “MTV won’t let me perform”.

Cyrus captioned the post, “F**k yeah VMAs!!!!!” This time, she’s got all the power…and, quite possibly, the pasties.
AP Miley Cyrus appears on stage during the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
This year, Cyrus is sure to have plenty of surprises in store when she hosts the VMAs on August 30.
In 2008, as Annie Leibovitz shot Miley Cyrus for a Vanity Fair spread, some fans went nuts as she appeared to be naked holding a satin sheet over herself for cover. Cyrus will be hosting MTV’s Video Music Awards, after 2 years of running the show without a host.
Miley’s sign was a nod to her 2013 performance alongside Robin Thicke which was slammed as too racy.
Peep Miley already getting a head start at making her hosting gig a memorable one down below.
One thing we’re sure of is she will be seeking plenty of media attention.

The show, which attracts a young audience prized by advertisers, will air live from the Microsoft Theater, formerly the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. But previous year, a lot of people praised her when she offered her award to a homeless guy, Jesse Helt.
