Red Hat Day to benefit newborns going home from hospital

The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDoH) reports about 4000 New Mexicans die every year from heart disease and stroke.

The first class is scheduled for Friday from 11 to noon and will be in Spanish.

It is a part of “National Wear Red Day, in which the Alabama Chapter of the American Heart Association and St. Vincent’s Hospital participate”.

While this disease touches everyone, it has a more lethal effect on women.
