Prince George will be celebrating his second birthday on Wednesday and to celebrate a special official photograph has been released.
For his first birthday a year ago, Clarence House tweeted several photos of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s son taken at the Sensational Butterflies exhibit at London’s Natural History Museum.
A Kensington Palace spokesman said at the time: “They are very happy to share these photographs and hope that everyone enjoys them as much as they do”. Kensington Palace have just released this adorable picture of the young royal.
A palace source told People Magazine Prince George, Princess Kate, Prince William and 11-week-old Princess Charlotte will spend the day in private in Norfolk. “Watch this space! #HappyBirthdayPrinceGeorge”.
And with her mother, Carole, running one of the country’s most successful online party goods companies – which helpfully sells a range of 2nd birthday-themed balloons, banners, sparklers and even piñatas – the day is bound to go with a swing.
