In January, British collecting society PRS for Music signed a new music licensing deal with YouTube that included support for YouTube Red “when it launches in the United Kingdom and Ireland” – a hint that those may be two of the first non-US countries to get the service. If you don’t, this first set of original programming on YouTube Red probably won’t convince you to subscribe.

There’ll also be a release from Lazer Tech, a documentary called A Trip To Unicorn Island, which covers Singh’s 30-city world tour.
YouTube Red Originals will premiere on February 10, and are included in your YouTube Red membership.
Users can purchase YouTube Red Originals in India.
“The diverse, dynamic creators behind these films have already built massive audiences on YouTube, rivaling many cable shows”, the YouTube team stated in their announcement.
The company’s movie lineup starting from 10 February will also include Dance Camp, a feature-length film from Awesomeness TV, a new media division of DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc.
YouTube Red is already a pretty sweet service, offering ad-free videos, unlimited music streaming and a few other perks for just $10 per month. “We have lots more thrills, chills, LOLs, smiles, romances, and surprises from more of your favorite YouTube stars coming later this year”, said the blog post. “With YouTube Red Originals, we want to help them tell bigger and bolder stories that delight you, their fans”.
Popular YouTube channel Rooster Teeth created a feature-length sci-fi action comedy that looks pretty awesome.

Some of the YouTube Red Originals aren’t complete exclusives: Lazer Team earned more than million in pre-sales before its theatrical premiere last week, and the exclusivity of projects like Dance Camp may not last forever. The movie is about four small-town losers who stumble on an alien ship carrying a mysterious cargo, leading to a battle to save Earth from an all-powerful enemy.
