According to a spoiler report by Design and Trend, veteran actress June Squibb (“Nebraska”, “About Schmidt”) will be playing the role of Meemaw. That’s right, the occasionally mentioned but never seen Meemaw comes to visit her grandson. She still holds ire over the fact that Amy broke up with Sheldon. Amy’s reactions and feelings towards the botched proposal will also be shown in the next episode.

Based on the synopsis of episode 14 of “The Big Bang Theory”, Sheldon would be thrilled with the visit of his grandmother whom she lovingly addresses as Moonpie. So if you’re familiar with her work, she’s a welcomed choice to play Sheldon’s Meemaw. This time, however, Amy replied that maybe she did not like her very much either.
