This will push your most recent books to a section in the upper left of the screen, represented by their front cover art. Tapping on the related My Library link will take you to your complete library.

It’s also done away with the light button, which is now tucked behind a new “gear” option that also gives you quick access to other settings like airplane mode and syncing. “Readers are always looking for their next favourite book, and this update provides new ways to help you easily find new books and new authors that you’re sure to love”, said Amazon in a blog post.
One of the major changes brought by the free update is an enhanced user interface that adds more personalized features to the much-neglected Home screen.
Amazon’s Kindle e-reader finally gets a new update, which brings a number of notable features that book lovers will truly enjoy. The wish list section includes all the samples you’ve downloaded alongside any books now in your wish list.
“This update will happen automatically, and won’t affect the e-books on your device or in your library”. The recommendation section is also an improvement, including personalised recommendations and anything your Goodreads friends are reading.

Another neat new feature is the ability to share quotes from books you’re reading directly on Facebook and Twitter.
