U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, who came close to winning second in the Iowa caucus, won a coveted endorsement Tuesday in SC from U.S Sen.

Part of that work will obtaining solid endorsements, and this morning, Rubio secured a major one in SC, picking up the good word of Senator Tim Scott.

Republican Gov. Nikki Haley, who has become S.C. most popular politician after her handling of the Charleston church shooting, might wait until after the New Hampshire primary to back a presidential candidate. South Carolina’s other senator, Lindsey Grahan, has thrown his support to former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. But “electability” is an argument that, historically, moves only a minority of Republicans, even in pragmatic New Hampshire.

“I just don’t know”, Bass said. That is the question, especially given that several “establishment”, or more traditional center-right Republicans, are contesting – along with Trump – for the slice of the electorate that gave Romney his big 2012 win in New Hampshire. “He is also the leader of our people”, Rubio said during the town hall in North Charleston.

(CNN) – South Carolina Sen. SC holds the first-in-the-South primary later this month. Also, Neerman said he is concerned about the rise of NY real estate mogul Donald Trump and the recent criticism of Rubio by other “establishment lane” candidates.

Rep. Matt Salmon, a co-founder of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, on Wednesday endorsed Sen.

Scott is the second top-tier political figure from SC to endorse Rubio. Ace objects that Rubio’s electability is overstated given his tepid reception among Republican voters so far.

In the new ad, Scott stresses the importance of the 2016 election and insisted Rubio will help boost America. He says his campaign is in it “for the long haul” and predicts that “we are going to win some states, we are going to lose some states”.

“I fear if Donald Trump is our party’s nominee, then Hillary Clinton will be President”, said the former NY governor in a written statement.

“With the end of Gov. Huckabee’s campaign for president, Gov. Hutchinson will now take a look at the rest of the Republican field and endorse the candidate he believes best suited to lead our country and win in November”.
