Donald Trump accuses Ted Cruz of fraud in Iowa
As the results of the Iowa Caucuses came in, the crowded Republican presidential race appeared to be narrowing down to a three-cornered contest with Rubio coming a close third behind Texas Senator Ted Cruz and controversial presidential front-runner Donald Trump.

Polls show Mr Sanders leading by double digits in New Hampshire, which neighbours Vermont.
Disconcerting for Clinton in the first vote of the lengthy 2016 campaign, was Sanders’s crushing victory among Democratic voters aged 17 to 29, who gave him 84 percent of their vote.
However, “I don’t think I would have given up a first versus second and not given the vets $6 million”. Both senators hope to extend their momentum in New Hampshire, with Cruz looking to peel away Trump’s supporters on the hard right and Rubio working to consolidate votes from mainstream Republicans and independent voters.
“They are partisans”, Cruz said, echoing his complaints during a CNBC debate (see video below) last October.
“The next president of the United States is going to be chosen by the most powerful force in all of politics: We the people, the grassroots”, Cruz said. Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley was invited and said he would attend, but after his showing in the Iowa caucuses, he suspended his campaign.
On Monday night, Mr. Carson’s campaign accused Mr. Cruz’s team of spreading a false rumor, while voters were still caucusing, Mr. Carson was suspending his campaign.
“I might have been hurt a little”, Trump said, “by not being at the debate”. Trump had led the polls in Iowa for months as well. Christie said. “We know who the boy in the bubble is up here, who never answers questions, who’s constantly scripted and controlled because he can’t answer your questions”. “I think we would win by a lot”.
The New Hampshire Republican primary often draws independents and more fiscally conservative voters.

“I was somewhat amused today to hear Senator Sanders set himself up as the gatekeeper for the definition of what’s progressive”, she said the event moderated by television news network CNN. “And sometimes when people run into adversity they don’t react well and they say things they maybe will later regret”. “It was based on public news reports, and so some of the media folks who want to use it to impugn integrity are deliberately using it in a misleading way”.
