A year ago saw the introduction of the Tesla Powerwall – a wall-mounted rechargeable lithium ion battery with the ability to power your entire home, powered entirely by solar energy.

While it’s fair to say few people are likely to get too upset about a wealthy customer’s personal spat with a billionaire businessman, Musk’s high profile means his curious customer service move is certain to generate some interest.

Note to anyone who thinks they can cross Elon Musk while their Model S or Model X pre-order is pending – complain if you would, but be nice about it, at the very least.

If you’re on the waiting list for a new Tesla vehicle, you may want to hold back on posting any unflattering comments regarding CEO Elon Musk – doing so may diminish your chances of ever receiving your order.

Once the press got wind of the catfight, the Twitterverse went off and so did Musk, confirming that he had car-blocked a “super rude customer”.

Tesla Motors Inc. has started captivating orders for its Model X in China with carriages to begin in the second quarter, giving customers in the largest auto market of world access to the new sport utility vehicle before it inaugurations in Europe.

That post this week followed an earlier one in September, in which the VC argued Musk should be ashamed of himself for failing to apologize over glitches at a Model X launch event.

Tesla’s Model X is an all-electric, all-wheel-drive SUV, featuring collision avoidance technology, “falcon wing” rear doors, and a bioweapon defence button.

“In this case, I was actually just a customer who felt he had been ignored at an event designed for customers and ripped off the odd post about that event”, Alsop continued.

“I am mostly sorry not to be able to participate in the automobile revolution that Tesla started”. Alsop and Musk did not comment.
