White: Holm-Rousey rematch would be epic
If and when the rematch between Rousey and Holm happens, it will surely be one of the biggest UFC fights in history.

It appears a timeline for Ronda Rousey’s return to the UFC is beginning to come together, with the former women’s bantamweight champion likely coming back just before the end of the year.
It took Rousey only 34 seconds to defeat Correia, cementing her status as the undisputed champion. “Holly Holm will fight Miesha Tate on March 5”, White said.
“The victor of that fight will fight Ronda, probably in November”, White said on Big Boy TV.
The undefeated boxing star has been name-dropped several times by fighters from the UFC.
However, White says Tate will present a serious threat to Holm’s title belt, and the proposed rematch with Rousey, at UFC 196 and that there is no guarantee that the latter will win. But when it comes to fighting, she’s remained mum on the subject.
It had been suggested that Rousey would get her rematch with Holm at UFC 200, but it now seems as though she won’t be ready to return that soon.
Her shocking loss to Holm still remains fresh on everyone’s mind, including famed boxing trainer Freddie Roach. When asked about Rousey’s mental state, more than two months since the loss, White said the former champion is doing well.
Her filming schedule – including stepping into the Patrick Swayze role in the remake of “Road House” – forced her to take additional time off.

“Stylistically this is a very, very tough fight because you know how styles make fights”, White said. The Olympic bronze medalist had finished all of her fights, with only one going past the 1st round.
