Wilson leads Team Irvin to Pro Bowl win

The Pro Bowl 2016 takes place on Sunday with Team Rice vs Team Irvin set to provide an electrifying contest for National Football League fans as they prepare for the Super Bowl next weekend.

Following an interception of Manning by Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee, Team Irvin took the lead on a 6-yard pass to Freeman. He completed eight with one touchdown and three interceptions.

Minnesota’s Teddy Bridgewater and Tampa Bay’s Jameis Winston each added two TD passes for Team Irvin. Team Rice’s 4-yard touchdown pass to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce from Giants quarterback Eli Manning answered by a 14-yard strike from Wilson to Falcons receiver Julio Jones.

Winston made it a 28-point game with a 7-yard dart to Hopkins, who finished with three catches for 71 yards. Team Rice threw six interceptions, while Team Irvin only tossed one, which turned out to be a huge factor for the trio of Wilson, Bridgewater and Winston to help get a win in the 2016 Pro Bowl.

T.Y. Hilton had one catch for 20 yards in the NFL’s all-star game in Honolulu.

Bennett, a Seattle Seahawks defense end and member of Team Rice for Sunday’s Pro Bowl, did a little bit of everything at Friday’s 45-minute practice session on Oahu’s north shore.

The 2016 NFL Pro Bowl may be interesting for an unusual reason – rather than acting as a showcase for the top players in the NFL, this year’s game has turned out to be more like a “Futures Game” with the spotlight on the league’s young, up-and-coming talent.

The clock was run down by Team Irvin to allow the team to finalize a 49-27 victory over Team Rice.

Team Rice also had Bills representitive linemen Richie Incognito and Eric Wood. Palmer played in the NFC title game last week with an injured finger, Rodgers had knee surgery after his season ended and Roethlisberger played through a shoulder injury in the AFC semifinals. Taylor was intercepted three times overall.

Winston padded Team Irvin’s lead with a 7-yard touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins to make it 49-21 Team Irvin midway through the fourth quarter. This year pits Michael Irvin against Jerry Rice as the two Hall of Fame wideouts have each assembled a star-studded roster.
