Trump accuses Cruz of fraud in Iowa
“Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified“, the former “Apprentice” star continued.

“Ted Cruz didn’t win Iowa, he illegally stole it”, Trump wrote in a tweet, since deleted.
The Cruz campaign sent an email to its backers Monday, urging them to inform caucusgoers that Carson planned to leave the race.
But in his first test at the hands of voters in the Iowa caucuses, which kicked off the parties’ nominating contests, Trump finished second to US Senator Ted Cruz of Texas.
Former Gov. Mike Huckabee, who won the Iowa caucuses in 2008, but drew only 2 percent this time around, suspended his campaign after the tallying, but no other GOP candidate followed suit Monday.
He also questioned why Marco Rubio was hailed as “surging” for his third-place finish.
Americans from New Hampshire to California should share those candidates’ pleasure, because while the Iowa results winnowed the fields of contenders a bit, they also presented voters in upcoming primaries with a healthy range of choices.
Meanwhile, the race moves to New Hampshire, where Trump leads and Cruz is in second place in many polls.
On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton has a significant gap to overcome in the statewide polls if she wants to defeat Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders following her razor-thin victory in Iowa.
“If somebody were to ask me about some of the issues on surveillance, I would say that, you know, I think Rand Paul’s had some good things to say about it”, he told NBC News. Rubio said he was leaving his fate in the Republican U.S. presidential primary contests in God’s hands, and added that he hoped his children would be proud of him “no matter how this turns out”.
The Cruz campaign said Trump was just clamoring for attention after the senator came from behind in the polls to beat him on Monday. Tyler said the Cruz team “as a campaign” never alleged Carson was dropping out. Cruz said in an interview with Fox News on Tuesday: “That was a mistake on our part and, as I said, my respect and admiration for Ben could not be higher”.

The prominence the presidential campaign calendar gives to Iowa and New Hampshire, each with a population smaller than the city of Los Angeles, has pluses and minuses.
