A petition seeking to try Lyari gang war leader Uzair Baloch in the military court was filed in the Supreme Court on Monday.

Yusala further stated that Dubai authorities initially told us that Uzair Baloch would remain in their custody for a while however he was never released until Sindh Rangers claimed that they have arrested my father from Karachi on January 30, 2016.
Former National Assembly member Nabil Gabol, on Sunday leveled serious allegations against Pakistan People’s Party leader Sharjeel Memom and former Sindh home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, accusing them of using notorious gangster Uzair Baloch as their henchman.
Uzair Baloch was arrested by the paramilitary forces from the Karachi’s suburbs a day before as he was trying to enter the metropolitan city.
Dispelling the impression, he said that there was no confrontation between the Federal government and the Sindh government but there were some reservations which had been conveyed to the federal government.
“Neither did we protect any terrorist in the past nor would we do it in future”, the Sindh chief minister said, adding that his party is against all criminals and terrorists.
Referring to power situation in the province, Mr Shah said that the province had resources to generate electricity from coal and wind.
Sources said that law enforcement agencies had increased the scope of interrogation and had also gained access to the records of People’s Peace Committee chief’s political meetings and their goals. Joint Investigation Team (JIT) will be formed against the gang war leader for 30 cases registered against him.

Regarding schools dilemma in Punjab, Shah called upon MNAs and MPAs of Punjab to curtail their own security and beef up the same on schools in the face threats.
