UCLA’s Kyle Anderson Captures National Basteball Association Summer League MVP Honors

A cold-shooting second half proved costly for Terran Petteway and the Atlanta Hawks in a 75-68 loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the National Basteball Association Las Vegas Summer League semifinals on Sunday. The Spurs went down by as many as 15 points with just under four minutes to play in the second quarter. Petteway also went 3-6 from behind the three-point line, making 8 consecutive shots to begin the contest.

These last couple of games he played within himself, didn’t overdo it, took drives when he had it. He took open shots when he had it. Now she can add to that by bringing another championship to San Antonio. “It’s great for me as a young coach coming up and looking forward to being in that first chair one day”. I’ve learned it’s more challenging than being a player on multiple levels. “Had a lot of turnovers tonight so there’s always something to work on, but like I said we’re back at it tomorrow”.

For the third consecutive July, Samsung National Basteball Association Summer League 2015 featured a tournament-style schedule, with the Golden State Warriors having won the inaugural championship in 2013 and the Sacramento Kings being crowned champions in 2014.
