UCLA’s Kyle Anderson Captures National Basteball Association Summer League MVP Honors
A cold-shooting second half proved costly for Terran Petteway and the Atlanta Hawks in a 75-68 loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the National Basteball Association Las Vegas Summer League semifinals on Sunday. The Spurs went down by as many as 15 points with just under four minutes to play in the second quarter. Petteway also went 3-6 from behind the three-point line, making 8 consecutive shots to begin the contest.

I’ve learned it’s more challenging than being a player on multiple levels. “Had a lot of turnovers tonight so there’s always something to work on, but like I said we’re back at it tomorrow”.

There’s no telling if Anderson will be ready to contribute to the now star-laden Spurs this year, but his play over the past couple of weeks has shown that he’s certainly getting closer to that point.
