Once a bromance, now a brawl: Trump and Cruz go at it
Washington- On the Democratic side, distinct to all expectations, billionaire Donald Trump was given the second place in Iowa, the first state to vote in the race to choose a Republican nominee for the White House.

He made the sensational accusations on Twitter, telling his almost 6 million followers that the first-time senator from Texas had committed fraud and lied to voters.
“Today I was shown a piece of literature from the Cruz for President campaign that misrepresents the role of my office, and worse, misrepresents Iowa election law”.
Trump fired off a barrage of morning tweets accusing Cruz of having “stolen” the Hawkeye State vote with underhanded tactics and demanded, yes, a rematch.
Although Clinton said she was “breathing a big sigh of relief”, and her campaign said it had won an outright victory, the neck-and-neck contest was a blow, evoking the setback she faced in 2008 after her upset loss to then Senator Obama. Carson finished a distant fourth in Monday’s Iowa Caucuses, garnering 9 percent of the vote and finishing behind Ted Cruz, Donald Trump and Marco Rubio. That poll found Trump, at 34%, maintaining a large national lead over both Cruz (18%) and Rubio (13%).
Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Sen. “I think he’s the next generation of the Republican Party”, she said.
That has irked Carson and his team, who has said the decision by the Cruz team to share only part of the CNN report was a dirty political maneuver. “I think some people were disappointed I didn’t go in the debate”.
However, the race now appears to have narrowed down to Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Carson, Bush and Christie.
On Wednesday he took out a full-page ad in a leading New Hampshire newspaper, the Union-Leader, attacking Rubio as not ready to serve as commander-in-chief. Those who are uncommitted to a candidate are less apt to back Trump, just 18% of those who are undecided or merely leaning toward a candidate say they favor Trump.
“If we get this election wrong, there may be no turning around for America”, the energized Republican presidential hopeful told the crowd.

Asked if he would sue, Trump told Boston Herald Radio, “I probably will”.
