If you’ve been looking for another way to blast your Facebook friends with notifications and messages, are you in luck this fine Friday (Feb. 5). And when a user attempts to make a move when it is not their turn, the game curtly reminds you it is not your turn.
The game doesn’t stop you having a normal conversation, so you can trash talk your buddy’s lack of chess prowess if you want to. This could breathe some life into your Facebook Messenger conversations. You use the command “x” to take an opponent’s piece. For instance, @fbchess Nbd2 would move a night from b-file to d2. Each piece can be moved by typing in which one you want to move and to which square.

“As Lifehacker pointed out (via BetaNews), entering a command such as “@fbchess Pd3” would move a pawn to the corresponding location. R is rook, Q is queen, and so on. This comes in the form of a game of chess, as you can see in the screenshot above. Drop in the word “help” and the full list of instructions is sent to you.
