Healthy Salads At McDonalds? You’re Better Off Eating A Big Mac

The Big Mac and Quarter Pounder with Cheese options have 520 calories, the same as the pre-dressing Caeser salad!
The salad contains MORE than 730 calories, 53 grams of fat and 1,400mg of sodium, according to McDonald’s nutritional information.
While Lindzon thinks McDonald’s was wise to add more vegetables to its menus, she said it’s also important to remember that salads aren’t necessarily healthy by default, especially when people load them with fat to improve the meal’s taste.
That’s worse than the Double Big Mac – which isn’t even on McDonald’s menus in the States, unless you ask your server to double the already weighty Big Mac.
