Voters not interested in Clinton speech transcripts, her pollster says
The first one-on-one debate between the two candidates was hostile at times, especially after Clinton attacked Sanders for running what she deemed to be a negative narrative against her.

Sanders has been very effective in defining Clinton as the establishment candidate and continually reminding voters of her cozy Wall Street connections.
UPI reports that Chelsea Clinton was in the middle of a speech before the Democratic debate took place and referred to Vermont Sen. “That I spoke to a lot of different groups with a lot different constituents, a lot of different kinds of members, about issues that had to do with world affairs.” .
Clinton, the former first lady and NY senator, continues to command widespread voter respect for her experience and readiness to serve as commander-in-chief.
The poll shows Bloomberg largely cutting into Sanders’ lead over Trump, bringing Sanders down to 35% to Trump’s 36%, with Bloomberg taking 15%. Her finance director called the numbers “a very loud wake-up call” in a fundraising email to supporters.
In a presidential contest, Clinton would beat Trump 46% to 41% and tie Cruz 45% to 45%, the Quinnipiac figures suggest.
Rubio and Sanders are the strongest contenders in the general election, but if former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg enters the race, he could be a threat to Sanders. Sanders countered that the ads didn’t say he’d been endorsed but merely passed along “nice” words the newspapers had written about him.
“He’s honest, dependable, loyal, relatively amusing”, she told CBS as the younger Bush beamed.
However, in the Republican race, Donald Trump still leads the pack despite the Iowa setback.
New Hampshire is considered a stronghold for Sanders, who resides in neighboring Vermont.
Mrs Clinton sought to dilute some of Mr Sanders’ support among left-leaning voters by presenting herself as a battle-hardened progressive who can get things done to improve the lives of struggling Americans.
It was Clinton who went on the offensive, saying he could never achieve his proposals. “And enough is enough”. Having said that, nearly all of the recent polls, including those conducted by the mainstream media, have seen Bernie Sanders close the gap on Hillary Clinton. He spoke of Wall Street executives who destroyed the economy and walked away with no criminal record.
“That is what power is about, that is what corruption is about”, he said.
Tad Devine, a longtime Democratic strategist who’s advising Sanders, said Clinton’s campaign is engaging in “classic political spin”. “Sanders…so we can turn our attention to what we really need to do – make sure we don’t get a Republican back in the White House”, Clinton said. Shortly before Thursday’s debate, the campaign released a new ad that features her saying, “We’ve been fighting the progressive fight for years”.
Rubio is the only of the top three GOP candidates to defeat Clinton in the hypothetical match-up – by seven percentage points.
Sanders also leads in all geographical areas of the state, from 55 percent to 39 percent in the Connecticut River valley, to 69 percent to 22 percent in the Manchester area. It wasn’t me paraphrasing her. It is what she said, and all that I said was there’s nothing wrong with being a moderate.

Sanders had a 44% to 35% favorability rating in the Quinnipiac study – the highest of any candidate.
