“We wanted to bring that sort of vibe to the Super Bowl halftime show”.
Beyonce has released a new song and music video called Formation (Dirty) a day before her highly anticipated halftime show with Coldplay.
Bruno Mars has officially confirmed he will perform at Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show with Coldplay and Beyoncé.
The 12-minute performance will draw inspiration from Glastonbury, the festival Coldplay are widely expected to headline in June, which Martin described as “one of our favorite places to play in the world”. He said: “It’s full of color and pageantry and it’s an incredible sort of spiritual home of music”. The cameo appearance from Beyonce is a natural fit for this show because she also made a guest appearance on Coldplay’s new album which figures to be prominently featured during the show. Super Bowl halftimes are rarely just a musician singing.
“I think we’re going to try to celebrate those other years and hopefully make a show as memorable as some of our favorites”.
“It’s one of those magical performances you can’t recreate”.

If you remember, Queen Bey took her own Super Bowl turn in the spotlight just three years ago where, incredibly, she reunited with her Destiny’s Child group mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. The British band is known for its slow ballades, but they also have some great powerful tracks.
