Quinn also directed that Seattle defense in a handling of Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers, followed up this year by Quinn as head coach of the Atlanta Falcons becoming the only team to defeat Carolina this season.

Newton grew up idolizing former Tennessee quarterback Steve McNair, so his strongest Super Bowl memory is how former University of Utah receiver Kevin Dyson caught McNair’s pass and was tackled at the 1-yard line on the final play of a 23-16 loss to St. Louis.

The Panthers (17-1) are on a roll, jumping on playoff opponents early. “I’ve imagined this 50 million times (since) going to the Super Bowl two years ago”.
“The Denver Broncos, and I will always support the Denver Broncos because I bleed orange and blue”, says Misty Hammer. “If he is good and healthy, can he play?”
They have nine takeaways and eight sacks in the postseason.
But the trigger for Carolina is establishing the running game.
“He has taken advantage of his study time, his repetitions and there is no question that we would not be in this position without him and the way he played in the games that he was in there”, Manning said. “We grind them out”.
That’s a good plan, but executing it has proven to be a little more hard. While he only ran for 72 yards in the AFC Title game, he’s had plenty of more statistically pleasing games this year.
Over three days of practices, Newton had just two incompletions – the other being a deflected pass over the middle – during team drills. He had a minus-8 touchdowns-to-interception differential. What he is missing is Manning has forgotten more football than Newton has played.
Some people get annoyed by all the celebrating Newton does. However, statistically, they were only the 11th ranked overall offense, coming in behind six non-playoff teams.

I don’t see it, and I don’t think any self-respecting Raiders fan can see it either. They were written off before the first snap of the regular.
